cookies + cream

The kitchen of this cool San Francisco loft received a make-over by introducing wood-and-laminate cabinets, stainless steel appliances and quartz counters. To accommodate the special requirements of my clients, a pantry and several drawer units were added; thus optimizing storage of this limited space and making everything readily accessible. The materials - walnut, laminate, quartz and glass tile - work well together and are easy to upkeep. The color scheme is grounding and fresh at the same time. The back splash, featuring azure blue glass tiles, adds a bold iridescent back drop and the Danish pendants create an eye-catching detail. The space comes across clean and open - this especially through the white upper cabinets blending in with the walls. Last but not least the island encourages social interaction: to prepare food and to entertain guests - a must for my clients!
